MOESIA. Istros. Circa 280-256/5 BC. Drachm (Subaeratus, 17 mm, 4.50 g, 12 h), a contemporary plated imitation. Two facing male heads side by side, one upright and the other inverted. Rev. IΣTPIH Sea eagle standing left on dolphin; below dolphin, ΦΥ. Cf. AMNG I 425, Dima Group IV, Subgroup VI, 1 and HGC 3.2, 1803 (for prototype). Slightly rough and with some breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
